We recently took a weekend trip to Mottisfont National Trust in Hampshire thanks to Hampshire's Top Attractions. Mottisfont currently have their 'All the colours of Christmas' event running from 25th November to 2nd January 10am-4pm so we set off to check it out.
The event boasts beautiful Christmas arrangements and decor, a family nature trail, craft activities and even 'Brussel sprout bowling!
We had such a lovely day, probably one of my favourite days out with the girls as they just relish in being outside and exploring new places. The grounds & gardens are beautiful and it's such a nice walk around, the festive touches really added to it!
It was nice that the activities were different to anything we had done before, it meant it kept the girls interested and made us some fun family memories. Where else would you do brussel sprout bowling together?!
After our activities, we needed to warm up as it was FREEZING! We got some hot chocolate and cakes and the girls loved that they did soya milk so they could have a hot choccie too! With warm bellies we headed back out for bit more puddle splashing and log climbing. The end to a perfect family day!
