Les Vignes De Charlotte - Our Villa in France

We booked our villa for France last year through booking.com for my Mother in Law's 60th and have been eagerly awaiting this family holiday, as our villa looked really lovely. When we arrived, we were blown away with just how beautiful it was, the location was so idyllic. Everyone has been asking me about it as they loved the look of it from my photos on Instagram. It was Les Vignes De Charlotte, located in Bonzac about 50 minutes away from the airport and the centre of Bordeaux.

The villa is suitable for up to 10 people and still there is plenty of room as every room is spacious, airy and bright. Being on the outskirts, it's nice and quiet and is surrounded by hills and countryside.

Inside the house, there's plenty of seating, nice big tables to seat everyone, outside, in the kitchen and the dining area of the living room. There's also lots of seating around the TV and the comfiest sofa ever! The decor is very french and very homely.

All the bedrooms are more than big enough too, every single one has a massive double bed and a little table and chairs to sit at but ample room in-between it all. Two of the 3 rooms also had 2 twin beds as well and our room had a cot in it. They also all had an ensuite which is fab and just makes it more comfortable when you're sharing with family.

As nice as the house is inside, the outside is without a doubt what sets the scene and makes this villa so beautiful. I already mentioned the big table outside to sit around but there were also 2 other little table and chairs as well as sun loungers and umbrellas to chill on.

The pool had the most amazing views over the hills, it's hard to capture in photos but it was such a nice view overlooking France while you swim and splash around!

Just behind the pool down the little hill were the owners pet goats, they were very friendly and the girls loved running out to see them every morning and see how they were doing. One of them was pregnant so they kept seeing if her babies were born, it would have been amazing to see if she had given birth!

The pool is shared with the owners who live next door, but we only saw their 3 kids for about half an hour, they kindly asked if they could use the pool as it was 33 degrees and of course we let them cool down!

It's the perfect spot to watch the sunrise and the sunset as well, we all rushed out there every time as it was so amazing.

We loved exploring France and staying in this villa just topped it off. We'd highly recommend it and are definitely planning to go back one day!
