Maternity style #1

I received a few gifts from JOY the other day, a gorgeous jumper for me and a little gift for baby. The jumper spurred me on to do my first 'maternity outfit'.. I was a little bit worried because I feel absolutely huge already and was worried I'd look like a whale and hate the photos but they aren't too bad I suppose!

This is the Bead Cluster Jumper and is a soft wool mix so is so soft and warm for this time of year! Of course it's navy which I love and has the beaded cluster details which is really pretty. It isn't maternity but I got the Medium which is a great fit and I love the front slit details as well, it helps my bump fit into it and gives me a bit of room to grow! I think it will even look nice next year when I'm not pregnant and it's a bit baggier. I teamed it with a basic t-shirt underneath and my Topshop maternity leigh jeans. I then just wore my black boots from Shoezone that I've had for ages!

The baby gift was the 'Letters to baby' which is so adorable! It has different sections for you to fill in such as what their first home was like and what your wishes are for them. It's such a lovely idea and is something to keep and give to them when they're older. I feel like this is a really special gift, especially as this baby has been so wanted for so long, I don't want to forget any detail! It would be the perfect baby shower gift for a friend.
