Things to do in London this Summer

With the Summer holidays coming up, you are probably wondering what you and your kids are going to fill your time with (or not), so I thought I'd share a few things to do in London with the kids. London is a fab tourist area and there's some great attractions around suitable for kids. A great hotel that is located close to some of the big tourist attractions is the Holiday Inn London - Kensington Forum so that would be the best place to stay.

The natural history museum and science museum are really close and would be educational as well as fun for kids (depending on age). Their admission is also free which makes for a reasonably priced day out (you may have to pay for special exhibitions inside) but they are definitely worth a visit.

Another free day out for the older kids would be the Saatchi gallery, it's a must visit, especially if your kids are into art. They are open 7 days a week from 10-6 so you can be sure to fit it in.

Of course, not too much further is the famous buckingham palace.. I am still yet to go and see this with my own eyes, it's definitely on my bucket list this Summer!

Another place I have always wanted to visit is Hyde park as well, such a iconic place to go and walk yet I have never done it!

For the younger kids, a day out at Hamley's would be magical. Throughout the Summer they have all different events going on, including Disney's inside out, K'nex k-force and the Playmobil roadshow. To find out more, see the 'what's on' page here.

There's definitely something for everyone in London which will make for a fab Summer!

Which one of these do you think you'll be visiting this Summer?
