Bank holiday fun

The May bank holiday is coming up and to me a bank holiday always signals an extra 'family day'. In our home town, there is always an event on the May bank holiday Monday, a fair that is a brilliant day out for the whole family of all ages.

There is live music throughout the day, a farmer's market and other stalls selling a variety of different things. There is normally some kind of activities for the kids as well, namely a circus area which Sienna enjoyed last year. Of course there is plenty of food and drink too.. it really is a brilliant day.
We're looking forward to going next Monday, I think Sienna will be into the circus even more this year and hopefully she'll get the hang of a few tricks!

One year we'd love to arrange a whole bank holiday getaway, maybe at somewhere like Park Resorts.  We absolutely love holiday parks in the UK as they are always so equipped for kids but also a nice fun break for parents too.

Being in the UK means that the weather isn't typically that hot either which we actually prefer; we don't have to worry about Sienna overheating and it isn't too hot to do long day trips out either.

What do you have planned for the May bank holiday weekend this year?
