Spring is getting close.. The sun has been shining, the air has been slightly warmer and everywhere I go, I see happy, yellow daffodils! This has got me very excited for my Spring wardrobe.. I can't wait to ditch the heavy coats and clumpy boots in favour for lighter jackets and flats.
I prefer shopping in department stores that stock a lot of different brands under one roof.. it's easier when shopping with Sienna or if you buy online you only have to pay once for delivery. House of Fraser has been catching my eye with their handbags & shoes lately. I feel like these two pieces can really update a basic everyday outfit.
Of course for Spring, I am loving adding back in some colour and also a lot of yellow. I guess that's down to the daffodils ;) The gorgeous Michael Kors yellow bag is to.die.for! I totally need it in my life although I'm sure the wedding fund says different ;) I'm also totally into powder/baby blue at the moment which isn't normally a colour I'd go for at all. The two tone blue of this bag above makes it look a lot more expensive than it actually is and is perfect for spring with jeans and a grey tee.
Shoes wise it's all about the flats! Comfy and practical for mummy life. I've never owned a pair of patterned/bright flats but these ones at the top could really add something to another jeans-and-grey-tee outfit. I know sneakers are a bit of a personal choice but personally I love them in grey. They're so practical for things like taking Sienna to the park but still fashionable. Monochrome is always my safe option when I can't decide what to wear so these last flats are perfect and would also see me into the Autumn as they're a bit darker and don't immediately scream Spring!
