NEW IN // Hair + Beauty

These two have been amazing additions to my make-up bag. The lanolin ointment is amazing for not only keep the lips in tip top condition but also for any dry patches on the skin. I have even used this on Sienna's lips and small patch of eczema and it really helps soothe the dry, flakiness. This concealer I featured in my favourites.. for me it's the perfect coverage and colour (I have the Medium shade) for my dark circles and really does help smooth those fine lines I have. Love! I would highly recommend giving it a go if you are starting to get those fine lines creep in and struggle with concealing dark circles.

I've been trying this set out for the past 2 weeks and I really like all the products! The liquid eyeliner is brilliant, a true black and is a pen form, so has an easy to use thin applicator, perfect for every day liner. The mascara is brilliant, it really separates the lashes meaning it really does get every lash. It does clump and the formulation is perfect; not too dry. The wand is quite small and plastic which is something I'm not normally a fan off but it works so well. The brown liner is probably my least favourite product; it works really well and stays put but unfortunately it isn't dark enough for my brows so I don't get much use from it.

The blush comes out as a white liquid but changes into a soft pink as you apply and it. It's quite natural but buildable and I think it would suit a lot of skin tones. This kit includes the lash fivers which is something I had never tried so I was excited. The idea is they are tiny loose fibbers that you apply to your lashes to give them more fullness and length without having to use fake lashes. I wasn't sure I'd be sold on the idea but I love them! They really do just add that oomph that fake lashes do but in an easier, quicker way. I have been opting for these over strip lashes for nights out lately and loving the effect. The gloss I have spoke about in a video previously; I love the formula, it's glossy but not sticky, has a little bit of shimmer and is the perfect A/W colour.

Dr Lewinn's is a new brand to me; this product is a two in one and is a thick cream that can be used as a primer or as a mask. Comparable to Clarin's Flash beauty balm, it does give your skin that boost of radiance which is just what my skin needs in the Winter. I can definitely notice the difference when I've used this and again it is one of those products I have been reaching for when my skin in looking tired or I have a night out coming up.

Lastly I have been trying the BabyLiss Salon soft waves styler. I have my BabyLiss conical wand which I love but it does create quite big, defined curls and I feel sometimes they can look a little bit 'too much' for everyday. This tool creates the most gorgeous soft waves really quickly (the wand heats in just 30 seconds!) that allow me to add a bit more shape to my natural hair but look a bit more low key. It also has a longer, 34mm tourmaline-ceramic coated barrel which is perfect my long hair. The packaging is gorgeous too and the tool itself looks very chic and comes with the protective mat and glove. Retailing at only £40, I think it's an absolute steal and I know I will be using mine most days. Follow BabyLiss on Instagram & Twitter.
