I normally always go for a red lip at Christmas, it's the festive classic that never fails to look glam. However, this year I have a blue dress (stay tuned for that later) and thought I'd go for a different look. No 7 sent me some of their make-up products to try out and come up with my favourite Christmas look. I was instantly drawn to the Stay perfect eyeshadow trio 'In the navy' which is a little odd as I never wear blue or navy on my eyes but I went with it and created this look.
Using the palette I took the champagne all over my lids, then I used the khaki brown in the crease to add some dimension and then I used the navy to smudge along my upper lashes. Over the top of the navy, I used the eyeliner pencil in 'Deepest blue' just too brighten the blue a little bit more. To highlight my inner corners I used the Shade and define in 'precious'. For cheeks I used this gorgeous cream blush in 'Maple silk' and then the Radiant spheres highlighter to add even more glow. My lips were a neutral brown using the lip line run 'nude' and the Sheer temptation lipstick in 'Romantic'.
I think it makes for a lovely Christmas party look that is different from usual red lip but still looks pretty and radiant.. It also works well with my Christmas party dress!
