Making raw CHOC Chick!

It's no secret I love to eat clean and follow a healthy lifestyle but it's also no secret I adore chocolate! I just try and choose dark or raw chocolate over my beloved Cadbury's dairy milk. Raw chocolate products are sweetened with healthier sugars and are nearly always dairy-free and vegan so they are a much better choice for your body but without totally going chocolate free.

I was recently sent this Raw chocolate making kit from CHOC chick so I could make my own raw chocolate treats. It came with instructions in the recipe booklet which I was glad about.. I had always imagined making your own raw chocolate to be hard but it was pretty simple and very quick! In the booklet it had a few different ideas on how to use your raw chocolate. I decided to make some plain chocolates so I could taste the chocolate to test it and then with the other half of the chocolate, I (of course) put some peanut butter in the middle to make my own peanut butter cups.

The chocolate is absolutely beautiful! It tastes delicious.. sweet but not too sweet and it almost melts in the mouth. My peanut butter cups are just so scrummy too, I have been having a couple every evening to get my chocolate fix! If you want to be a bit healthier and cleaner but love your chocolate too I'd definitely recommend taking the raw chocolate route!

Check out the whole range on the CHOC chick website here.
