Monday marks the 1st of December (seriously, how?!) and the day we will be delving into our advent calendars! I've always had a standard chocolate advent calendar in previous years however this year I have added my first beauty advent calendar to my collection!
This is The Body Shop's Christmas advent calendar* in all it's festive glory. It offers a selection of their best selling skincare, body care and make-up throughout the 24 days leading up to Christmas day. All the products inside are either a deluxe sample or a full size product, meaning the value of the contents are worth £83... the calendar retails for just £50 so you are getting a great saving! As you can see, I opened my number 1 to show you a sneak peek of what was inside. My first item was the Almond hand and nail cream RRP £5. I don't want to spoil too much but inside the other doors there are products from the Special Edition Glazed Apple, Wild Argan Oil, and Colour Crush Nail Colour ranges as well as the classic Shea, Vitamin E and White Musk ranges.
Sienna has the super gorgeous Linea Wooden Truck Calendar* from House of Fraser (which is currently half price!). It is so cute with the mint green front with Santa driving and the little doors that open for you to put a treat in. I am thinking of putting a little Christmas marshmallow in each door for Sienna's advent treat as she can't have too much chocolate. She does also have a Peppa Pig calendar that has a small chocolate in each door, she should be fine with just a little bit!
Warren and I then both have Thorntons advent calendars as well! Yum! We have the Classic advent calendar* and the Smiles advent calendar* and I think we will probably swap every other day. I think the Classics one looks delicious, I will probably save my doors to open in the evening so I can enjoy my little chocolate as dessert while Sienna is in bed!
