Sienna having a fitted bedroom has it's pros and cons. The pros are that we can fit a lot in her room and not have to worry about where the furniture will go. The cons are that one whole wall is taken up with wardrobes and so it only leaves us with 2 walls and 2 corners as the other wall has a window and radiator. With that being said I have tried to fit everything in as best I can! I am not 100% happy with it (a full room tour will be up on my YouTube soon) but it will do for now, especially since we are saving hard for our wedding now! We can't afford any non-essentials, even my furniture wish list from Rodgers of York is on hold!
I wanted to share with you a few new additions we have recently added to her room. The first thing is the butterfly wall stickers* from Koko Kids.. aren't they just gorgeous?! They are actually fabric stickers made up of cotton, polyester and paper that is 100% biodegradable. They are also free from vinyl, PVC, BPA and phthalates so are a great choice for babies/kid's rooms. I love the greys and pinks and the shabby chic patterns; polka dots, gingham and florals. Even though they are fabric, they have a matt finish and can be wiped clean which is again brilliant for kid's rooms! The quality is brilliant and even though they are thin, they hold their shape and we haven't had any rips despite me moving and replacing them 500 times to get them in the right position, haha! I think they're a fab way to make a feature wall, particularly if you rent your house.
Next is the gorgeous small character beanbag* from Teeny Beanies. We went for the Florence Fairy design but there are 13 other designs to choose from, including Melvin Monkey and Edmund Elephant, they're all so cute! We chose to get it personalised with Sienna's name on the front but you can choose not too if you prefer. The small size (H25cm, D35cm) says it is perfect for 3-5 years however Sienna fits perfectly on it. It is made from 100% woven cotton with a suedette finish but
the cover has a zip so the outer can be washed at 40 degrees to keep it clean and hygienic. The zips are also inverted as to not catch little eyes or fingers so you can tell a lot of thought has gone into the design and safety of the product. I think it's gorgeous and is finished off beautifully.
Of course, I had to mention Sienna's corner kitchen in this post, even though it isn't technically in her bedroom yet. We haven't got round to taking it up there! I mentioned we wanted to get her this for her birthday and I'm so glad we went for it; I am 100% happy with it and we have already got so much use from it! It really is the ultimate kitchen, complete with a fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave, oven, 2 hobs, sink, tap and even a phone and curtains. It's better than our real kitchen, haha! Everyone has been asking me where it is from and it is from Beebies Baby Store.
Be sure to subscribe to my YouTube so you don't miss Sienna's full room tour when it's up :)
