there’s one thing that most kids love, it’s a trip to the zoo.
While it may be a little nippy outside at the moment, there’s no

your favourite zoos for the day. With the February half term on the
horizon, a visit to the zoo would be an ideal way to pass the time
and, if you wish to incorporate it into a few days away in one of the
UK’s top cities, you can! Here are five superb zoos in the UK for
you to choose from.
Edinburgh

for the visit, and appreciate the conservation efforts that the zoo
takes part in to help endangered species from around the world,
including being the home to seven black rhinos which you can enjoy as
part of the Black Rhino Experience.
Drusillas

you’d prefer to stay away from the big name zoos, DrusillasPark
is arguably one of the best small zoos in the country. A huge hit
with the kids, Drusillas isn’t just about the beasties that its
home to; it’s also home to an Amazon Adventure as well as a Thomas
the Tank Engine train ride that will gladly take you on a tour around
the park.
Dudley

This
fantastic zoo in the heart of the Black Country is home to an
extensive range of big and rare animals for you and the kids to
enjoy. With Dudley Castle on site too, you can enjoy a full day of
fun and adventure here, including the chance to wander through the
Monkey Tails walkthrough attraction to get up close and personal with
these intelligent primates.
