On Saturday 16th November, Liza and I hosted the #southwestbloggersmeet at John Gandy's in Exeter. It was the perfect venue, we wanted to make it relaxed and fun, not too formal and intimidating. Cocktails were on offer to help calm the nerves ;) We hired out the upstairs cocktail bar so it was beauty bloggers only. We had our own little space and the wonderful Lush from Exeter and Liz from Pearlys had a stand and were offering demonstrations for our fabulous guests. They were brilliant so thank you so much!
We had a raffle and all money raised (over £100, thank you!) was for the Talia Joy charity. We had some amazing prizes including Enrapture hair tools, Rouge Bunny Rouge make-up, Ginvera skincare, Nanshy brushes and Neal and Wolf hair products. We decorated the table with pink balloons from ukpartyshop to make everything look prettier!
Everyone enjoyed cocktails, meeting, chatting and generally having fun; we had so many comments of people saying what a success it was and how fun it had been. We are glad you all enjoyed it and thank you so much to everyone who came and donated towards the raffle! Liza and I met some lovely bloggers as well and we were very happy with how it went!
Everyone got goodie bags at the end that were very kindly provided from paperbagsuk and personalised with the #southwestbloggersmeet on them. How cool are they?!
They were full of goodies from Elemis, Braw, Colour Xtreme, Nail art, Heaven, Skinetica and more! My post about what was in my goodie bag is coming up soon, so keep a look out! All in all, I think it was very successful, especially for our first ever event! I can't wait to go to more :)
