So the lovely Carlie from A cup of vintage very, very kindly sent me this BEAU-tiful cake stand to review! It is bone china and has this gorgeous vintage, floral print on it with the gold edges and hard wear.
Carlie's business, A Cup of Vintage, started when she decided that at her wedding, she wanted something different. She decided to have afternoon tea served to her guest on vintage china. Carlie had spent years collecting the china and after her wedding, many of the guests that attending were enquiring about hiring the china for different occasions and this is when Carlie saw a market she could cater for.
Now Carlie and the business have hosted with companies such as Miss Selfridge, Rimmel and London fashion week. With this success, Carlie has now expanded the business into upcycling unused furniture.
This cake stand is so beautiful and can be used for various things. It feels very well made as you would expect from bone china and is a nice addition to my cake stand family. I'm not sure if mine is going to display my cupcakes or my jewellery! It will definitely make an appearance for Sienna's birthday though!
