Meet my new friend the Scaredoo*. The professional hair care 2-in-1 brush. This brush is a detangling and styling brush in one, making haircare very easy and simple. At first glances, it looks similar to the Tangle Teezer and in a way, it is similar, but the Scaredoo is so much more.
It has the detangling 3 tier bristles on one side of the hand unit and is very easy to hold, it fits perfectly in the hand. The unique thing about the Scaredoo is that it has a 'flip & finish' function. The middle 'plate' with the bristle on pops out of the unit and when you flip it over, it has a paddle brush the other side for you to then style your hair with. This is the 2 in 1 aspect of the brush and I love it!
I have never actually tried out the Tangle Teezer as I had heard some negative reviews and didn't want to waste my money. However, with the Scaredoo having the 2-in-1 function, I knew I would get my use out of it as I normally use a paddle brush anyway. The Scaredoo can be used on wet or dry hair, I find it's easier to detangle my hair when wet and then I use the paddle brush when it's dry to brush through and style. I was expecting it to struggle with detangling my long locks but it does a pretty good job!
The Scaredoo can be used on any hair type and is also good for hair extensions. I think this would be really good if you want to use on your little ones hair as it doesn't pull or tug at the hair and cause any discomfort! It also features an anti-slip grip so it is perfect to use in the bath or shower.
