I always get new clothes for holiday, it makes me feel good getting nice summery clothes and gets me excited for some sun, sea and sand! :) I picked up a few bits last week so i thought i'd share them with you!
First up, these super cute flip flops in a lovely peachy pink colour! I love flip flops with just a strip down the centre of the foot, i'm also partial to a bit of cheap bling! ;)
My next purchase was this pretty simple, thin long sleeved top. It will nice on cooler days or evenings with straight leg jeans. I was drawn to this because of the pattern and the colours, it's a bit more interesting than a plain colour!
I then spotted this cute top in H&M! At the moment, this is my favourite colour so i knew i had to have it! It's simple but pretty and would work dressed up with jeans and heels or just with leggings as casual day time wear! I love the details around the shoulders, it helps balance out my hips!
Next up, is something a little different for me. Apart from jeans, i never really wear denim as i didn't think i could pull it off. However, i saw this denim dress in Primark for only £5 and thought i couldn't really lose, even if i didn't like it! However, i love it! I think it will be a staple for me on holiday and in the summer when we're back. Either with leggings as a dress or wearing it open with a longer top and skinny jeans! I'm now also pondering on a denim jacket!
My favourite purchase was this cute cable knit cardigan! It's quite chunky but will be perfect for cooler evenings without having to wear a coat or jacket. It's in a gorgeous navy and is shorter than most cardigans. I can picture wearing it with a plain white t-shirt, straight leg jeans and white flip flops!
Warren then kindly bought me this very barbie-tastic bikini from La Senza! It's the brightest pink i've ever seen but i do love it! I definitely need a tan to pull this off though!
So there's my holiday shop, guys! I love a good excuse to update my wardrobe and i love all of the items! :) I was trying to get hold of a maxi skirt/dress, however i'm only 5'4 and they all drowned me! I'm determined to find one before we go away though, 6 days to go! :)
I'm not feeling to great today, it's my day off so i'm taking it easy and eating a big bowl of comfort!
What's your staple items of clothing when you go away? Any ideas where i can find a maxi dress/skirt?
