Unfortunately i am still suffering from my breakouts. I'm not sure if it's stress or something i'm using but i've stripped back to old faithful products i know work (Liz Earle cleanse & polish, Dermalogica special cleansing gel, Dermalogica Daily microfoliant and Simple moisturiser. I'm hoping they clear up before i start my new job! *fingers crossed*
I normally use Simple's Oil Balancing moisturiser, however, with my breakouts being so bad, i didn't feel it was targeted enough to treat them! I decided on their moisturiser from their new range, Spotless Skin.
This moisturiser is apparently more targeted towards spots and blemish, whereas the Oil balancing is supposedly more targeted towards just oilyness and shine.
However, i glanced at the ingredients in both to see how they differ, and they don't! Word for word, ingredient for ingredient, they are exactly the same products.
Oil balancing above.
Spotless skin below.
They both have exactly the same texture and colour, there is simply no difference! This is just the same product in different packaging. I'm a bit dissapointed really, i always thought Simple was a good brand, but i think this is just a concept to make more money!
OOooh how cheeky!!! You should contact them and say that you noticed!! My only guess is that they are fazing out the oil free version and the blemish one will stay, but still people are going to keep buying it thinking it is new :(
ReplyDeleteoil balancing? this would be so good for my skin!!! im gonna go check them out online :)

ReplyDeleteOh you need to come visit me and we will go shopping for yummy food!
love ya! xoxo
I've noticed this happening more and more. Silly marketing instead of being focused on a good product. It's really frustrating sometimes.
